There was a rafft of questions at the end so I hope my response covers them all.
The question of fresh rank has to be related to the search type. If they are looking for authoritative content, then it is not uncommon to see results dating back several years, despite there clearly being fresher content available.
If anyone saw a 5 year old post and felt they could snag the google result placing by merely freshening up the content, then that may or may not work.
The ranking factor here does not centre entirely on freshness, but also considers the authority of the site it was originally published on.
So, in my understanding, if all things were equal, then freshness would give distinct advantage but if you are trying to ride roughshod over authority, then it might not.
The next site type that is important to me is local business. With these sites, again there are other more authoritative factors that provide ranking over freshness. If freshness were omnipotent, then new sites would rank higher than old ones in many instances.

What is seeming to make the difference with this plugin is the combination of several power ranking factors to make the overall impact positive in google’s eyes, fingers, feelers or whatever else they probe me with.

As you stated, internal linking done right is extremely powerful, especially to establish the niche relevance. Schema is undoubtedly another major power asset. Renewed and topical content, social signals and the obvious attention grabbing page changes all come together to make this plugin quite unique IMO.

Not only does the plugin appear to offer a killer combination of ranking power, it also manages it in a way that would be much more difficult if attempting either manually or via several non-congruent plugins.

So wow! I love the concept and really look forward to testing it.

I’ve got some new sites coming on board right now in semi-competitive local niches. To get them on the radar will involve several strategies and this plugin seems to deliver on quite a few of those.
For me, I’m seeing this and thinking that authority should be established much quicker with this plugin as it is seeming to provide exactly the blueprint that google are suggesting is the perfect experience.

The one thing I didn’t hear mentioned, although it might be there (?) was .amp or mobile. If these were to be built in too, along with ensuring SSL integrity across linking, then we have one mother of a tool to go to war with.

For a few years, I have known about and used both Freshness and Internal Links.

It seems that internal links can be even more important than external links. We can sometimes totally disregard external links altogether if we maintain a good internal link structure.

And fresh, relevant info is so necessary in today’s fast past world where there is a constant movement toward the latest.

If done right, fresh video can ease the burden tremendously. But having a system to do things automatically would free my time for tasks that more directly produce income.

Do the ‘Shake and Vac’ and put the freshness back!

I was so glad to see your last email. Glad you’re back in the mix. I always look forward to whatever it is you have coming out. Always great stuff. You hit it dead on for a site I have that has been slowly dropping in the rankings. I had just come to the realization it probably had to do with the infrequency of adding content, after eliminating a lot of other possibilities. And then I watched your first video. I believe you nailed my issue. Fresh content is definitely a factor Google watches.

Internal links are imperative building site architecture and spreading link juice. Both are important SEO practices.Like I mentioned earlier, I have one site that has been dropping for certain keywords and I came to the conclusion it had to do with not adding content often enough. I look forward to adjusting my strategy after watching your video and monitoring the rankings.

Hey Abbas, I am in love with this strategy. It is so consistent with my site… fits like a glove.
I have about 3,000 posts… but obviously most of them are aged…

I get 90% of my visitors from google… on 458 pages.

The question I have… lol… will I have ANY input of which pages’ freshness will be boosted? Or as the site’s freshness is boosted, my pages go up with it?

Obviously I have an awful lot of keywords… given the topicmatter of the site.

As a Local Business Marketer, I’ve known for some time the importance of “Silo” types of local (and for that matter ANY type of promotional/affiliate/sales) websites and the use of that internal silo-styled linking. More and more enphasis has been placed on internal linking over the past 2 yrs and properly laid out websites which use this silo-structured internal linking process have benefited immensely in SEO rankings and placements.

From the looks of your video, your new software takes that concept and ramps it up to make that even more effective and powerful.
Internal Category (main keyword) – Post (supplementary keywords) – Post – Post linking obviously has tons of “Google Juice” and if you think of it logically, it only makes complete sense in Googles algorithms thinking. If the internal links lead a visitor/reader from the main page to a main post and then to consequently related posts, the visitor stays longer, learns more and in Google’s eyes is happier!

I can completely see how having any type of tool that could either help layout the proper structure, help make linking simpler and help create a proper silo-styled site would be a HUGE asset to any online marketers success but in particular a Local Business Marketer. I’m very much looking forward to seeing (and getting my hands on) your new Fresh Rank tool.

Abbas, like you say, it has been well known that Google favors fresh content. Your plugin would level the playing field, competing with big Brands that can hire teams of content creators for their blogs. Actually many big brands just hire teams to “curate” content and they never have to create content on their own. The curating factor could be important because by WP video Sites will always be creating fresh content in which may be picked up by big brand companies after they realize our sites are always having that fresh content. Maybe even more fresh content than a “Buzz Feed?”

The internal linking factor is very important because it shows that you care about “bounce rate” by making it readily available for the reader to click a link to stay on your site. We know that bounce rate is a very big factor in ranking.

As for my business, there is no way that my business would not improve with WP Video Sites. Creating pages that are relevant and SEO optimized ensures that we could be content kings with it installed. We all are in the business of having our money sites to be automated sales machines. This increases the chance of that happening OVER 100%. Thanks for all that you do Abbas!

Well, I don’t know how many years its been but I think I’ve gotten almost everything that Abbs puts out!

I’m not just saying this to win a copy of his new app (although that would be nice), I buy his stuff because it works. He stands behind it, support is great and it always does what’s on the label! For instance, I purchased Tuberestore a while back ….didn’t really use it until recently. Man, that application does more than anyone elses and it still works, considering youtube, that’s a feat unto itself!

I’ve been really sick for a while and I’m familiar with the Google Fresh Factor but Abbs has done an excellent job explaining it and going into detail. The days are gone when you can stick up a site with a couple of pages and get it ranked …..sorry, you can do that. You can get it ranked but you can’t keep it ranked. Mainly because there is no activity on the site ….thus the Google Fresh Factor and Abbs’ new app to beat it!

Internal linking is a pain when writing blog posts. Even though every SEO expert tells you that it needs to be done, the question becomes …..HOW? Yep, there are plugins available…. but they leave footprints indicating to Google that your site is being mechanically manipulated. Not a good thing! When I manually link posts, I will notice a lot of googlebot activity, when I don’t link posts, I end up losing postion. So, how do you link, when do you link, do you silo, what type of silo …..I really need someone who has done the testing to tell me what works. I certainly will listen to Abbs and see what he comes up with regarding internal linking. His approach to these sorts of things are usually well thought out and effective.

Why does anyone want better ranking? Well, more eyes on your website means more eyes on your offer or message. Whether you’re trying to change the world or sell more widgets I want to get in front of as many people as possible. Hopefully this new plugin will revive some of my older sites that sell a single ebook or software app. I’ve got some sites for offine/local clients that could use a boost ….maybe Abbs can make me look like a hero 🙂

a few questions though,
– Where from and how is content being generated?
– Are there any additional subscription and tools such as spinning services, required for complete set up of this plugin?
– Would it be supporting foreign languages and characters?
– Will internal links generated be varied, i.e different variations of your choice for each page?

I’ve put a lot of my focus on great, relevant content and good internal link structure, which have proven time and time again to work, so I have no doubt this plugin can be beneficial in terms of ranking, where my only concern is the quality of the content generated, and the value it ads to the users.

Increase in ranking will obviously lead to more leads and sales, to my customers, cannot argue with that….

It looks like we’re are gonna have spun content on our money sites which will never pass a manual review by Google!

I would much rather like to see a plugin that adds manual spintax to the pages we want to rank and spin the content daily in a way that makes 100% sense for site visitors and the Google web spam team. I’ve seen great results by just updating the actual page I want to rank.

This is a genius solution. I feel that internal links are important because they participate in the expansion and ranking of low hanging fruit or related keywords that greatly assist in receiving more niche specific traffic. Extremely cost effective traffic for free excluding domain name and hosting cost.Obviously better ranking and the ability to keep those rankings over time is extremely important, firstly for quality ongoing traffic and secondly because you have manged to meet the requirements that Google needs to allow a person the first page ranking to begin with. If their is a trade off in all of this I would imagine that a marketer would love to build a generic evergreen niche specific blog that generates traffic instead for years to come instead of a blog that only specializes in a particular brand that has no ability for reuse after it’s initial construction.

Is it truly amazing how BigG continuously changes and finds ways to single out and destroy outdated approaches, rendering a lot of hard work almost totally useless, or at least, relatively ineffective.

I was trying to figure out how to do this for my local sites. In my own research I found sites that produce content on regular basis rank over sites with the same dreary text. On a webinar I was on I saw a case study where internal linking proved powerful in cases where the links received social signals basically sending signals to the Big G that the linking page is important and relevant to the topic. I’m running a pay-per call model so more local rankings translates to more call thus more money.

I wasnt thinking about creating a separate site. My idea was use one of the automated blogging plugins to post content with spun link code for corresponding page. Use the category rss plugin to create rss for each category. Create ifttt for each rss with basic apps. Add each rss to mixer adding high authority feeds then submit them to pingler.com.

As you can see a whole lot of work and site weight with extra plugins

We all know that regularly up-dated content helps with Ranking but The Google Fresh Factor and how exactly it can be manipulated is a more precise view of the whole process.
Internal linking is essential to suck the Search Engines deeper into the site and take notice of it. Boosting the link’s relevance with multimedia and marking the new content’s social relevance, with W2.0 linking and RSS Feeds, further cements its contemporary relevance to the Search Engine bots (and algorithms).
All of our businesses on the web will be affected by this, and since we’re on the web to make money, then if we’re serious about it, we have to deal with this Factor.
I’m looking forward to learning more on how the plugin does it, since it would be very time-consuming to do it by hand.
One issue may be that of it leaving a “footprint” for the bots to pickup and whether this would invalidate the use of the plugin.

If we like to rank terms of our content automatically Internal Linking is a best way of doing it.

And if we want to create new pages that have a high freshness score and associates those pages with our main content, this gives a related document freshness boost to our main content.

The reason better ranking helps us to get more traffic to our sites. If we have good useful content that people are searching for their solutions, we can convert them into buyers. “ To make More Sales “ It will make a great difference in life !

It doesn’t matter beginner or an advanced seo guru, blogger everybody needs to provide content what Goole want from us.

The Google Fresh factor makes complete sense. I run into dated , stale content all the time. If you can stay current with your posted content, you will certainly satisfy the Google Fresh factor.

Internal links are definitely an important factor in ranking a site. I have been able to affect a sites ranking by adjusting its internal linking structure.

Better rankings will mean more traffic, and more clicks. With converting sales funnels completely set up, and in place, this increase of traffic, and clicks will mean more sales! Bam!

If you want to rank on Google you have to give Google what it wants.So what does Google want? It wants to deliver great content but also fresh content for those using it’s search engine so that they will continue to keep using it. And if loads of people use it’s search engine it is likely to earn massively from advertising. And as most know if you do not rank on page 1 then you are not easily going to be found. So it is a win-win: Google makes money; and you get found because of regular fresh content that is internally linked and hopefully make money. So do I want to get found through better ranking? Of course I do.
