Wow this is cool! Great idea Abbas! I can absolutely see how updating your posts (adding content etc) can boost your freshness score. This is a powerful new plugin you’ve developed!!

Bit like history – if we don’t update our historical knowledge as we learn and uncover new facts, how will future generations know what was/is going on. And so we should also update items and articles on our blogs to maintain freshness and quality of information. This looks like a good app.

I started to get interested towards the end of the video as I realized what the benefits were towards the Google Fresh Factor, I really thought the fact that this actually adds to the original document and can be resubmitted to those social sites too!
However, if this practice was to be kept up, surely the post would end up like war and peace?

If you had a cooking related website, couldn’t you add a new recipe a day or week to the post so readers would want to come back to see new recipes posted. I can see lots of ways to use this that would keep people coming back to your site. Great looking product. Can’t wait to see the other features.

Abbs is always on target and it is obvious that this plug in will help automation of your freshness factor but Google just loves curation. I wish I could tell you why but curation is one of those UNSEXY things to do for your post and blog. Google loves curation and freshness and it looks like Abbas has us covered for both of these.

Updating content, whether it is articles, videos or images is a must to keep the spiders coming back. It sounds like you’re automating the complete process using IFTTT. Looking forward to the next video.

I love the evolution of the plugins. The wp content curation rank game is getting a bazooka pointed at it. Things are quickly changing to keep fresh looks at seo / engagement.

Do I need to set up a cronjob for this to work?

Freshness makes perfect sense and all one has to do is look in the search results as you show in the video. It is rare to see results dating in 2014, 2015, etc…I think that many people are not even worrying about that fact. To me, it is sort of laying a ranking foundation for now and the future. Keep up the great work Abbas!

I always tell people when asked about Google that it’s like a courting relationship and everybody’s trying to date and impress Google and this app to me is like bringing Google a fresh bouquet of roses every now and then. We all know that roses are a favorite gift, doesn’t matter if it’s the same kind of rose, it’s the surprise and freshness of the rose that makes it special!

What a great idea Abs, I have been playing with a plugin that can spin and report old posts, but WP Curation Pro seems like a much better solution because it takes your current post and build on it in future months on auto pilot, this will be fantastic for PBN’s.

When you drag and drop images, does it hot link to the original image or add it to your site’s media library? I would think hot linking back to the original image would get you in trouble.

I’ve had several websites that over time have suffered greatly from not having content updated. One was #1 on Google for a very competitive keyword locally, and I am struggling to get it back. Google is definitely looking for fresh content, and why not? When I search for some sort of information, I definitely am looking for something that is RECENT, rather than possibly stale information. This is essential then!

WP Curation Pro looks like a great way to get that content updated and at the same time syndicating out your content to give backlinks that are also needed for giving any website a lift in search rankings.

Hey! Great idea. I recently read a blogpost on Gaps that was a case study on freshness. The idea was that the more recent the article, the more Google loves it. So many big brands are optimizing for thisin the titles (e.g. “best family tents 2017”; great article to start in late 2016 and update through the year. Good to get a head start in late 2017 for searches that are bound to rise in 2018… “best family tents 2018”…). But small and new websites can stay ahead on this too. In the article, the website 10beast dot com are mentioned and the guy behind this site is making a KILLING on searches such as “best router 2017”. I guess this plugin will help with that.

But I also think that visitors and interaction is important to google. Anthony Hayes has some great examples on how visitors can boost rankings. Go look him up. It’s a great site if you want to learn how to build a list and redestribute content. Back to visitors: by promoting and repromoting updated content to a base of followers (e.g. repromote updated content to twitter followers/ instagram/facebook, places where you know there is interaction and engagement) you can have more visitors re-reading your content, sending the right signals to Big G).

Abbas, you never cease to amaze. I own most of your products and like them all. I’ve never been disappointed.

As for WP Curation Pro, there are a lot of autoblogging plugins out there. I’ve tried a number of them, and even if they work OK (which is usually not the case), Google isn’t fooled by them. Not anymore.

This plugin takes a worn-out and broken concept and makes it relevant (and effective) again. Yay! Better yet, I can see using it on a number of sites which sadly lack for new content. Like so many have talked about in the comments above — who has time to keep the ol’ blog fresh? Much less more than one of them?

I think I speak for most of us when I say… WE DON’T! But WP Curation Pro looks like it will solve this problem admirably.

It looks absolutely brilliant, and one way or another, I can’t wait to get my grubby lil fingers on it.

It is natural to edit and add parts to a post now and then. Having the feature inside the plugin for this, rocks!
